Quick answer: is NexLife legit?

Yes. NexLife is a LegitScript-certified U.S. telehealth company. Licensed providers evaluate every patient before anything is prescribed, and prescriptions are prepared by U.S.-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies, with every batch lab-tested. Members rate NexLife 4.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot, and more than 5,000 have been served. Two things to know before you start: our medications are compounded, so they aren't FDA-approved, and a prescription is never guaranteed.

  • LegitScript-certified: you can confirm it on LegitScript's website in seconds
  • Licensed care: a licensed provider reviews every patient; prescriptions are never automatic
  • Licensed pharmacies: U.S.-licensed 503A pharmacies, every batch lab-tested
  • Published prices: $169 for tirzepatide and $139 for semaglutide, the same at every dose

Five ways to check us yourself

None of them requires trusting us.

  1. Look up our LegitScript certification.

LegitScript certifies online healthcare companies after checking their licensing and compliance. Check NexLife on LegitScript.

  2. Ask who your provider is.

Your NexLife provider is licensed in your state. Ask for their name and license number, and look them up on your state medical board's website.

  3. Check the pharmacy on your label.

Your medication label names the pharmacy that prepared it. Look it up with your state's board of pharmacy; our state pages link to each board.

  4. Compare our prices with anyone's.

Our prices are published before you sign up and stay the same at every dose. Our GLP-1 price index shows what 10 online providers charge.

  5. Read the reviews, especially the critical ones.

We're rated 4.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot. Read the one-star reviews too: they show how a company handles problems.

What NexLife is, and what it isn't

The honest version, in six lines.

What we are

  • A telehealth company: licensed providers evaluate you online, and we serve patients in all 50 states
  • A flat-price program: one monthly price at every dose, with the provider review, nutrition plan, coaching call and shipping included
  • LegitScript-certified, with a named medical director and a written results guarantee

What we're not

  • Not FDA-approved medication. Compounded tirzepatide and semaglutide are legal when prescribed for you and prepared by a licensed pharmacy, but they aren't FDA-approved
  • Not insurance-billed. Compounded medication is almost never covered; HSA and FSA funds usually work
  • Not a shortcut. No one gets a GLP-1 from us without a provider's review

Red flags to avoid, with any provider

If you see these anywhere, including here, walk away.

  • Selling GLP-1s without a prescription, or "for research use only." We never do.
  • Calling compounded medication FDA-approved, generic, or the same as Zepbound or Wegovy. We don't, anywhere.
  • Hiding the price until checkout, or raising it with every dose. Ours is published and flat.
  • No named medical team or pharmacy. Our medical director is named, and your label names your pharmacy.
  • Pressure to prepay for months. Our monthly plan cancels anytime.
  • Guaranteed results. We make no promises about your body. We offer a written refund guarantee with clear conditions instead.

NexLife questions, answered

Is NexLife legit?

Is NexLife FDA-approved?

NexLife is a telehealth company, not a drug, so it isn't something the FDA approves. The medications NexLife prescribes are compounded tirzepatide and semaglutide, which are not FDA-approved; the FDA hasn't reviewed them for safety, effectiveness or quality.

Where does NexLife's medication come from?

From U.S.-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies, which prepare each prescription for an individual patient. Every batch is lab-tested, and your label names the pharmacy.

Who prescribes at NexLife?

Licensed providers in your state. NexLife's medical director is Adam Kennah, MD. A provider reviews your health history before anything is prescribed, and not everyone is prescribed.

How much does NexLife cost?

$169 a month for compounded tirzepatide and $139 for compounded semaglutide, month to month, the same at every dose with no membership. Longer plans cost less: $139 and $119 a month on 12-month plans.

Does NexLife take insurance?

No. Compounded medications are almost never covered, so NexLife is a cash program. HSA and FSA funds usually apply, and NexLife provides itemized receipts and a letter of medical necessity. Financing is available.

Can I cancel NexLife anytime?

Yes. Monthly plans can be canceled from your account dashboard or through the care team. Longer plans follow their own terms.

What if NexLife doesn't work for me?

Follow your plan for six months as prescribed. If you lose less than 5% of your starting weight, you can request a refund of program fees. Medication costs aren't refundable. Read the full policy.

How fast does NexLife ship?

Free expedited shipping, typically 1 to 2 business days after you're prescribed, discreetly packaged.

Does NexLife price match?

Yes, for people switching from another provider. If you’re new to NexLife, have an active prescription for compounded tirzepatide or semaglutide from a licensed U.S. telehealth provider, and pay less than NexLife’s price there, we’ll match your regular all-in monthly price for as long as your membership stays active. Send a receipt from the last 60 days; first-month offers and coupons don’t count, and a NexLife provider must determine that treatment is right for you. If you pay more today, our flat price already saves you money. How switching works.

How do I contact NexLife?

Call or text (949) 818-8000, or email care@nexlife.us. Support is available 24/7.

Important safety information

Compounded tirzepatide and semaglutide are not FDA-approved. The FDA has not reviewed them for safety, effectiveness or quality. The risks below come from the labeling of the FDA-approved medicines.

Both medicines may cause tumors in the thyroid, including thyroid cancer. In studies with rodents they caused thyroid tumors, and it isn't known whether they cause them in people. Don't use either if you or anyone in your family has had medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), or if you have multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). Tell your clinician if you notice a lump or swelling in your neck, hoarseness, trouble swallowing or shortness of breath.

Serious side effects can include inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), gallbladder problems, low blood sugar (especially with insulin or sulfonylureas), kidney problems from dehydration, severe stomach problems, serious allergic reactions, vision changes in people with type 2 diabetes, and depression or thoughts of suicide. Tell your care team before any surgery or procedure that uses anesthesia or deep sedation. Don't combine either medicine with other GLP-1 medicines.

Tirzepatide can make birth control pills less effective: use another method for 4 weeks after you start and after each dose increase. Semaglutide should be stopped at least 2 months before a planned pregnancy. Tell your clinician if you're pregnant, planning to be, or breastfeeding.

This is a summary, not the complete safety information. Read the full Prescribing Information for FDA-approved tirzepatide (Zepbound) and semaglutide (Wegovy), and talk with your clinician. You can report side effects to the FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088 or fda.gov/medwatch.
