What does Henry Meds cost?
Henry Meds’ monthly plans start at $179, for liraglutide or semaglutide under the tongue. Weekly semaglutide shots are $297 a month, and the lower rates need a plan paid in full.

Each monthly plan covers up to a set amount of medication: for semaglutide shots, up to 10 mg every 70 days or 12.5 mg every 90 days; for the $179 under-the-tongue plan, up to 60 mg every 60 days, and up to 180 mg for $249. The tirzepatide tablets are listed as a “3-month supply,” though their fine print says “delivered every 60 days for 6 months.”
The $179 isn’t for weekly semaglutide. It’s Henry Meds’ price for liraglutide, a daily shot, and for semaglutide that dissolves under the tongue. Weekly semaglutide shots are $297 a month.
Lower rates mean paying up front. A year of semaglutide shots costs $2,364 paid in full, about $197 a month. Otherwise it’s $3,564, the same as 12 monthly payments of $297.
No membership fee is listed. Its FAQ says visits, medication, supplies and shipping are all in the plan price. Its terms add that $30 of that price is a consultation fee, kept once you’re prescribed.

How it works
How does Henry Meds work, and how does it ship?
Online, in three steps: medical forms, a provider visit, then medication by mail. Here’s each step, with the timing Henry Meds gives.
Forms and a free evaluation
Henry Meds’ medical forms take under 5 minutes, and the evaluation is free, up to 15 minutes. If you’re prescribed, your card can be charged right away and your plan starts, its terms say.
A video visit or a review
Depending on your state, a provider meets you by video or reviews your answers without a call.

That’s how long most people wait after the provider visit, Henry Meds says. In California it can take longer, because of extra testing rules for compounded medicines.
Then a shipment every 45 days
For shots, or every 90 days for tablets, per its FAQ. Its programs page describes 6- and 12-month plans as shipments every 60 days.
Once it ships, it’s yours. Prescriptions are final sale. If a box arrives damaged or warm, Henry Meds asks you to report it within 48 hours. It then looks into it and may send a replacement.
It’s self-pay only. Henry Meds doesn’t take insurance, Medicare or Medicaid, and its terms say HSA and FSA use isn’t guaranteed.

Can you cancel a Henry Meds multi-month plan?
Yes, any time, but leaving a multi-month plan early may mean paying the rest of the balance. Here’s how its terms work.
- How: in your patient portal, by email at ask@henrymeds.com or by phone at 909-787-2342. Its terms say canceling online takes two clicks.
- When: at least 48 hours before your plan renews. Your plan ends with the period you’ve paid for, and there’s no refund for the unused part, except where the law requires one.
- On a multi-month plan: you may have to pay the rest of your balance, unless a provider finds you can’t continue for medical reasons.
- If you must stop for medical reasons: Henry Meds may refund the unused part of a prepaid plan, with a licensed provider’s note and its own clinical team’s approval. Medication already shipped isn’t refunded.
- What it keeps: $30 of the price is a consultation fee, kept once you’re prescribed. A processing fee may also come off any refund.
- Reminders: its terms say a renewal notice may come 3 to 7 days ahead on monthly plans. On multi-month plans, it aims for 15 to 45 days ahead.

Important safety information
Compounded tirzepatide and semaglutide are not FDA-approved, and the FDA hasn’t reviewed them for safety, effectiveness or quality. A provider prescribes them only when they offer a significant difference for you compared with an FDA-approved product. Both medicines may cause thyroid tumors, including cancer: don’t use either if you or a family member has had medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).

In studies with rodents, both medicines caused thyroid tumors; it isn’t known whether they cause them in people. Tell your provider if you notice a lump or swelling in your neck, hoarseness, trouble swallowing or shortness of breath. Serious side effects can include inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), gallbladder problems, low blood sugar (especially with insulin or sulfonylureas), kidney problems from dehydration, severe stomach problems, serious allergic reactions, vision changes in people with type 2 diabetes, and a faster heart rate. Tell your care team before any surgery or procedure that uses anesthesia or deep sedation. Don’t combine either medicine with other
Tirzepatide can make birth control pills less effective: switch to a non-oral method, or add a barrier method such as condoms, for 4 weeks after you start and for 4 weeks after each dose increase. Both medicines may harm an unborn baby. Semaglutide should be stopped at least 2 months before a planned pregnancy. Tell your provider right away if you’re pregnant, planning to be, or breastfeeding.
